Program Overview

Welcome to the AI/ML Fundamentals workshop! This course is designed to introduce students to the core concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). By the end of the workshop, students will be familiar with key AI terminologies and understand how AI and ML systems function.

01.

Focus on AI/ML Fundamentals

This workshop aims to demystify AI/ML and provide trainees with a strong foundation to continue exploring this fascinating field.

By the end of the workshop, trainees will be able to:

  • Distinguish between different AI concepts and buzzwords.
  • Understand the importance of data in AI systems.
  • Build simple AI models using rule-based logic and machine learning.
  • Comprehend the basics of neural networks and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
  • Learn about Generative AI and explore its development, capabilities and applications.

02.

Focus on the Building Portfolios

In this workshop, students will be challenged to create several hands-on activities and projects which work towards building a portfolio for DSA or interview purposes.

Some of projects include building a rule-based system to identify animals using a decision tree and creating a basic machine learning model using provided data.

Program Overview

Welcome to the Robotics with Python Workshop! This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of robotics by applying Python programming into their Spike Lego Robotic kits. By the end of the workshop, students will be familiar with basic robotics principles and understand how to build and code robots using Python.

Focus on application of Python into Robotics

Throughout the workshop, students will have the opportunity to create DSA portfolios that showcase their understanding of robotics concepts, their coding skills, and the projects they have completed. By building a portfolio, students will not only have a tangible record of their learning journey but also a valuable asset they can share with future educators and interviewers.

03.

Focus on the Building Portfolios

In this workshop, students will be challenged with several hands-on activities and a final project that contribute towards building a portfolio for DSA or interview purposes.

The final project, a smart rover, will showcase the student’s ability to apply their programming skills to hardware programming.
