Program Overview

Focus on Computational Thinking
The Lab Coder program uses our proprietary platform, similar to Scratch, to introduce kids to coding through fun and interactive learning.
The curriculum is broken up into 4 stages, Foundation, Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. At the end of this course, your child would have achieved a high level of competency in Computational Thinking – logical and analytical thinking. He/She will be able to code proficiently using Python programming language. Currently, Python is one of the most popular programming languages used in academia as well as industry.

Rigorous and Academically-Driven
Our curriculum is highly rigorous and academically-driven. It is reviewed quarterly by Dr. Oka Kurniawan, SUTD Senior Lecturer, to ensure that the curriculum remains relevant in today’s ever-changing technology landscape. Its framework is based upon the Computer science degree syllabus. As our school is closely associated with Singapore University of Technology and Design, it gives students a platform to pursue their passion in technology further and build up substantial portfolios through individual project works and presentations.
